Zhengzhou Kexin Iron Mouth Repairing Gun Mud Application Case

Thanks to its functional properties, Kexin炮泥 is primarily designed to repair eroded areas around the iron tapping hole. Since April 1st, the use of Kexin has significantly improved the issue of spattering at the Xichang iron tap, ensuring consistent overall depth of the tapping hole and maintaining relatively stable iron tapping times. Specifically, in April, Kexin was used in 100 furnace operations at Xichang, with only 1 furnace showing an unqualified tapping hole depth—resulting in a 99% qualification rate for tapping hole depth. The average iron tapping time during this period was 85.55 minutes. In May, Kexin was applied in 166 furnace operations at Xichang, with 6 furnaces experiencing unqualified tapping hole depths, yielding a qualification rate of 96.39%. Meanwhile, the average iron tapping time increased slightly to 88.55 minutes.

Based on nearly two months of use, the Kexin iron mouth repair mud effectively eliminates iron mouth spattering in a short time, allowing the iron channel to return to normal quickly. Throughout the usage period, mud application remains easy to control, ensuring consistent iron mouth depth and maintaining uniform tapping intervals. This approach also helps minimize localized erosion at the iron mouth, promoting regular maintenance and ultimately ensuring safe and reliable iron tapping operations.
